Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma. 918-253-3222. Karen Kay (Kirby) Fields, 69, passed away on September 17, 2016 at Integris Grove Hospital. Karen was born on February 13, 1947 in Pryor, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Alonzo "Jr." and Noveta Kirby. Karen known as "KK" when she was younger, moved to Jay, then Derby Kansas, on to Tulsa, back to Jay, but has resided in Grove for the last several years. Karen was a graduate of NSU, had worked several occupations over the years, but she worked the majority of her career, 27 years, for Cherokee Nation as a Vocational Administrator. Karen was the mother of Lance Lee Fields, mother in-law to Rechele Fields, sister to Janet Hendren, grandmother to Brittney Fields, Gabi Fields, and Zack Fields, great grandmother to Aimee Harness, Tristan Harness, Katie Harness, Averi Harness and Baby River, Aunt to Amber Hendren, Bobby Hendren and his wife Alica and many great nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Jay First Baptist Church with Pastor Johnnie Faught officiating. Karen will be laid to rest in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
