Katherine Lidia (Crout) Riley, 86, of Delaware, passed away on June 3, 2011 at the Medicalodge in Coffeyville, Kansas. She was born to Jackson and Winnie (Jackson) Crout, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on May 6, 1925. Katherine graduated from Bartlesville High School. She married Jake Riley and they had a son together, James. Jake passed away in 2005. Mrs. Riley loved being outdoors, fishing, gardening, and working with her flowers. Other hobbies included cooking, baking, and canning. Her grandchildren were very special to her and she loved taking care of and spending time with them. Surviving Mrs. Riley are her son James, and wife Anita Riley of Nowata; two grandchildren, Jacob Riley and wife Tara, Sara Seabolt and husband Marvin, Jr.; one great granddaughter, Lidia Jane Riley, many other relatives, friends, and loved ones. Preceding Mrs. Riley in death are her parents, Jackson and Winnie Crout, her husband, Jake Riley, two sisters, and one brother. Gravesides services for Mrs. Riley will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Riley Family Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service with Dean Bridges officiating. Donations may be left at Benjamin Funeral Service.
