Katie Link

Katie Loree Link 83, of Nowata went to be with the Lord at 5:35 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008. Katie Loree Stuart was born on December 19, 1924 in Houghton, Kansas to Chester and Ollie (Davis) Stuart. Loree made Nowata her home for the majority of her life. She graduated from Nowata Public Schools. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, nothing ever quite compared to her grandbabies. Loree is survived by her daughter Janice and her husband Pat Ross of Nowata, her son Gary Link of Bartlesville, 6 grandchildren Shelly and her husband Juan Fink of Sperry, Todd and his wife Blair Link of Bartlesville, Lindsay and her husband Kyle Bright of Bartlesville, Matt and his wife Stacy Link of Nowata, Kirk Ross of Bartlesville and Julie Fink of Bartlesville, 3 great grandchildren Riley Bright, Addison Link and Charley Link, her brother Raymond Stuart of Hutchinson, Kansas, her sister Marlene Patrick of Bartlesville, 2 special friends Toby and Kelly, numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Link, her parents Chester and Ollie Stuart, and 6 siblings. Funeral Services for Loree are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in the Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Rev. Derrick Bohn officiating. Final committal rites will be accorded Mrs. Link in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata. Funeral Arrangements are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Loree's name can be made the Cornerstone Community Church, 220 N. Maple, Nowata, OK 74048; or the 1033 Wheelchair Van 321 E. Cherokee, Nowata, OK 74048.
