Kenith Mcspadden

Kenith McSpadden, 71 year old rural Ketchum resident, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at his home. He was born June 12, 1940 near Ketchum to Herman T. and Eva Pearl (Keller) McSpadden. Kenith graduated from Ketchum High School and later married Charolette Jarvis on July 18, 1959 at the Ketchum Baptist Church. He drove for Time DC Trucking in his early years, and has always been a farmer-stockman. Kenith liked to shoot trap, help his friends and neighbors, going to Cabin Creek sand bass fishing, going to rodeos to socialize and was considered the World Champion Bull Rope Puller by his boys. Kenith and Charolette have always welcomed all the area kids into their home. The family includes: his wife Charolette of the home; three sons Ken McSpadden and wife Anna Marie of Big Cabin, Denny McSpadden and wife Candi of Vinita, Brent McSpadden and wife Melody of Big Cabin; brother Mark McSpadden and wife Carol of Ketchum; sisters, Coleen McSpadden and Gloria Streib both of Wichita, Violet Walker and husband Jim of Oregon, Omalea Wright of Vinita; grandchildren, Guthrie and Dalli, Newly, Tater, Megan, Luke, Lathe and Morgan; and one great-grandchild, Paisley McSpadden. Kenith was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Billy McSpadden. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ketchum High School Gymnasium, with Pastors Bill Busch and Wade Markham officiating. Interment will follow at the Wallen Cemetery near Bernice. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com. Friends may plant a Dogwood Tree in Kenith's Memory. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
