ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, Bartlesville, OK - Kenneth "Leroy" Drake, age 74 and resident of Bartlesville, passed away in The Journey Home, Bartlesville, Sunday, November 1, 2015. Kenneth Leroy Drake was born on November 9, 1940 in Bartlesville. He was the son of Kenneth Drake and Dorothy (Fischel) Drake. He was raised by Orren Drake, his step-mother. He received his formal education in the Bartlesville community. He was a lifelong resident of Bartlesville/Dewey/and Copan areas. Leroy was employed with Jack Cannon Laundry Service as a custodian for 25+ years. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty. He later married Kathy Milliken and she also preceded him in death. Leroy was an active member of the Dewey Sr. Citizens organization. He enjoyed fishing and generally loved doing almost anything that included "walking". Survivors include his son, Kenneth Leroy Drake, Jr.; siblings, Barbara Wood and her husband, Gerald, of Dewey, Elroy "Bud" Drake of Copan, and Diane Piersanti and her husband, Joseph, of Las Vegas, Nevada. Other survivors include his uncle, George Drake of Dewey; four nephews and two nieces; and several cousins. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Leroy's memory be made to The Journey Home, 3406 S.E. Kentucky, Bartlesville, OK 74006. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave. Family will be present to greet friends from 6-8:00 PM. Services will be held on Thursday, November 5, at 10:00 AM in the Copan United Methodist Church. Pastor Warren Peck will officiate. Interment will follow the service at White Rose Cemetery.
