Kenneth Alan Tyner Obituary Grove, OK - Kenneth Alan "Catfish Kenny" Tyner, 51, passed from this world on March 4, 2007. He died at his home in Grove, OK, following a brief illness. He was born March 10, 1955 in Vinita to Buck and Bonnie Tyner. Kenny worked as a plumber and a backhoe operator, but was known as "Catfish Kenny" here on Grand Lake and at the Coletto Creek Warm Water Discharge in Victoria, Texas, where he holds two lake records; one for the largest catfish and the other for the largest striper. Kenny was well known by all at Coletto. Kenny is survived by his wife of 25 years, Linda Tyner, of Victoria, TX; one son, Matt Tyner of Victoria, TX; one step-son and wife Gay and Lynn Bishop of Jay, OK. Kenny was preceded in death by one step-son, Danny Allen Bishop of South Carolina. Kenny is also survived by his parents, Buck and Bonnie Tyner of Grove, OK; three sisters, Dani and Doug Miller of Fairland, OK., Katie and Billie Uhl of LaPorte, TX., Kathy and Dale Osborne of Oklahoma City, OK; three brothers, Pat and Carol Tyner of Mustang, OK., Mike Tyner of Grove, OK., and Jason and Stephanie Tyner of Irving, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Kenny will be sorely missed by his entire extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at a visitation on Wednesday, March 7, 2007, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK. A Memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, OK.
