Kyle was born in Tulsa, OK on 9 January 1973 to Dr. Robert Hasselman and Mary Lou Thornburgh Hasselman. He was a graduate of Okmulgee High School (1991); the University of Oklahoma (1995) Bachelor of Science, Accounting; and, the University of Phoenix (2001) Masters, Business Administration. Kyle was a member of Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity at the University of Oklahoma. In 2003, Kyle married the former Lynn Joann Adzigian, daughter of David John and Linda Richards Adzigian, of Grove, OK. Kyle was a senior financial analyst with Verizon (formerly WorldCom and MCI) where he first met Lynn. They have made their home with their family of two daughters, two cats and Molly (the pug) in Grove since 2011. Kyle's greatest loves were his wife and family; his church and faith; and his many friends. Voted "the man most likely to smile" by his high school classmates, Kyle sincerely loved watching Katelyn and Allie at their soccer and basketball games; and, perhaps most of all, he loved his ‘Daddy-Daughter dates' with "his girls". An avid sports fan, Lynn and Kyle often could be found watching college football games and especially OU football games with a gathering of friends. Survivors include: his wife Lynn Adzigian Hasselman, of the home; daughters Katelyn Elizabeth Hasselman and Allie Kathryn Hasselman, of the home; his parents Dr. Robert and Mary Lou Hasselman, of Okmulgee, OK; his sister Kelly Waswo and husband Jim, of Edmond, OK; his brother Bob and wife Debbie, of Bixby, OK; mother-in-law and father-in-law Linda and David Adzigian, of Grove, OK; brother-in-law Scott Adzigian, of Oklahoma City, OK; brother-in-law Mark Adzigian, of Somerville, MA; Uncle Joe Thornburgh and wife Wanda, of Broken Arrow, OK; Aunt Carol Jo Thatcher and husband Joe, of Garland, TX; nephews Brooks and Blake Hasselman, of Bixby, OK; nieces Kacie Waswo, of Edmond, OK.; Emma Adzigian, of Oklahoma City, OK; Samantha, Madeline and Chloe Adzigian, of Woodbridge, CT; and cousins Rhana Vickers, Marjorie McVicker, Stephen Thatcher and Suzan Barclay.
