Lafena Siefert

Wyvonne Lafena (May) Siefert, 73 year old, Jay Oklahoma passed away Wednesday August 1, 2012. Lafena was born on February 5, 1939 in Jay, Oklahoma to Harvey and Helen (Hiser) May. Lafena attended school in Jay until her high school years. It was around this time she and her family moved to the Oregon area. Lafena gradated from Hermiston High School. Lafena had several jobs during her life but primarily thought of herself as a full time homemaker raising three children. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed reading as well as doing genealogy. Lafena is survived by three children, Robert Scott Siefert and wife Darci of Marysville, Washington, Tonya Ellen Christoffersen and husband Vince of Marysville, Washington, and Penne Fenette Johansen and husband Kenny, of Fall City, Washington Lafena is also survived by a brother James May of Hermisten, Oregon, and four grandchildren Jason Wicklund, Jordan Wicklund, Megan Winter, and Nikki Winter. Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lafena's honor to the Jay Police Department Reserve Fund or the Delaware County Library.
