Lana Jo Fox, 76-year-old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, went to be with her Lord and Savior on July 19, 2018 at Monroe Manor after a long battle with cancer. Lana was born on March 11, 1942. She was the loving daughter of Joe and Mable (Howe) Kennedy. Lana was an avid Jay Bulldog and Oklahoma Sooner fan. She was a member of the Jay Scholarship Foundation and the Delaware County Historical Society. Lana was very giving and selfless, she loved people, and was blessed with many dear friends. Lana enjoyed traveling and was an outstanding cook. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Lana will be reunited in heaven by with her father Joe Kennedy. She leaves here on earth her mother Mable Belle Kennedy who resides at Monroe Manor in Jay, Oklahoma, her son Darwin Lee Stewart and wife Cheryl; her grandson Sean Patrick Stewart and wife Katrina; and her great grandson Alexander Patrick Stewart; all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lana will be dearly missed by numerous cousins, relatives and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Friday, July 27, 2018 at Jay-Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Graveside services are scheduled for 10 am, Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Southwest City Cemetery with Brother James Bryant officiating.
