Laura Browning

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, OK....918-786-2261....Laura Leona Browning, 89, of Grove, OK, passed away on Friday, November 14th, at her home in Grove. Laura was born on August 4, 1925 in Centralia, OK, to Lewis and Ruth Cook. She married Milo Curtis Browning, in May of 1942. She is preceded in death, by her husband, Milo Curtis Browning and a son, Shannon Curtis Browning. Laura is survived by a daughter, Sharron Elrod of Borger, TX; and a daughter-in-law, Donna Browning of Rockwall, TX. Laura was blessed with two grandsons, three granddaughters, nine great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren. She loved having her family gather with all their children. This always was very important to her, especially during her later years. She had pictures on every wall in her home, all of them!!! Boxes of pictures that she would get out and sit in the floor and spend hours on, sorting and enjoying. She always liked to show them to anyone that came to visit. Services will be held at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 10AM with Pastor Leo Schroeder, presiding. Burial will follow at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Afton, OK. There will be public visitation on Monday, November 17, 2014 from 6PM to 8PM at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, OK.
