Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita- 918-256-5555.... Laura Katherine "Cathy" Cloud, 70 year old Bluejacket resident, passed away August 1, 2016. Cathy was born in Telluride, CO on July 10, 1946 to John Allen Templeton and Virginia "Ann" Templeton. She was the oldest of five siblings. After graduating from Nucla Colorado High School Cathy was recruited for her speed reading skills and moved to Washington DC to work for the FBI. On May 18, 1968 she was united in marriage to Dale Jay "Mike" Cloud and together raised two children. In 1975 they moved to Bluejacket to manage Green Country Herford Ranch. Cathy always had a heart for horses. She competed in little britches rodeos and was once the San Miquel Rodeo Queen. Locally she worked on horseback at the Farmers and Ranchers Livestock Auction. Among other jobs Mike and Cathy traveled the US doing construction on residential military contracts. She also worked for over 10 years at Cinch in quality control before retiring. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Mike Cloud of the home, mother Ann Templeton, son Troy Lee Cloud and wife Rita of Bluejacket, their children: Tristen and Tawni (Grandma's girl), one daughter Tonya Lynn Gedion and her wife Gina of Arvada, CO, Tonya's children: Terren Dale Gideon and Taylor Dawn Gideon and great grandson Dwyne Jay Lee Jerome, one brother Jack Allen Templeton and wife Velma, and two sisters Elaine Warren & Jane Templeton. She is preceded in death by her father John Templeton and infant sister Nita May Templeton and grandson Trevor Cloud. Memorial services will be 2 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016 at the First Baptist Church of Bluejacket with Greg Highsmith officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
