Lee Foreman, Colcord area resident, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Monday October 1, 2012. Lee was born on October 19, 1928 at the family home in Delaware County, Oklahoma to his parents, Richard and Sarah (Birdchopper) Foreman. Lee attended the Clouds Creek School. Lee met the love of his life, Minnie (Sixkiller) and they were married for 58 years until her death in March of 2007. He enjoyed Indian marbles, fishing, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lee was saved many years ago; he was a member of Old Clouds Creek Church and was ordained as a deacon on April 16, 1988. Lee is preceded in death by his parents; his wife; sons, Dennis and Dale Creekkiller; brothers Edward, Thomas, Charlie, and Jack Foreman. He leaves many loving memories with his family, son, Amon Foreman; daughters, Opal Foreman, Jewel Shotpouch; brothers, Andy, John and Martin Foreman; sisters Nina Vann and Mae Wolfe; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; as well many other loving relatives and numerous friends. Casket bearers will be Tommy Sands, Robert Dry, George Cochran, John Wagnon, Rick Pathkiller, Raymond Hendricks and Chris King. Honorary bearers will be Bud Foreman and Ross Gourd. Viewing and Visitation will be 6:00 PM -8:00 PM Thursday October 4, 2012 at the Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Friday October 5, 2012 at Old Clouds Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Stanley Grass and Reverend Rufus King will be officiating. Interment will follow at Clouds Creek Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay.
