Lena White

Lena Lorene White, of McCune, Kansas, former resident of Vinita died Sunday January 8, 2012 at Elm Haven Care Center in Parsons. She was born September 30, 1930 in Vinita to Benjamin T. Osborn and Mary Imogene Ross Osborn. She has lived in Kansas For the past two years. Lena had worked at Eastern State Hospital and the Highway Café and was caregiver for the elderly. She enjoyed OU Football and was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, going to the Casino, but mostly spending g her time with her family and being a mother and grandmother. Surviving Lena are four children: Nancy & Fred Salmon of Vinita, Randy and Danna White of Vinita, Rhonda and John Haviland of South Coffeyville, OK And Billy and Linda White of Guthrie, OK, one brother, John and Flora Osborn of Edmond, OK 12 grand Children, 25 great grand children and 2 great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her Husband Thomas Junior White in 2003, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. A Memorial Service will be Wednesday January 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bluejacket First Baptist Church with Brother Gordon Hatcher officiating.
