Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, OK 918-253-3222. Leon Riley Sultzer, 52, Jay, Oklahoma entered into eternal peace with his Heavenly Father on Saturday morning, March 12, 2016. Leon, the youngest child of the late Riley Sultzer and Edna Marie Sultzer of Jay, began his earthly walk on July 20, 1963, being born at Claremore IHS, Rogers County, Oklahoma. He graduated from Jay High School in 1982 and attended Okmulgee Tech in Muskogee, OK. Leon's legacy of being a Jay Bulldog will live on as he drew and painted the Bulldog mascot for the school. Leon worked for Petersons, Petit Jean/Northwest Arkansas Poultry and Simmons where he was a supervisor for a number of years. Our son, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend's most favorite time was being with his girls, Georgina and Lina. He could play a mean game of Dominos, Rings, and other games with a smile and he was always joking around. He was very devoted to his family and is beloved by each and everyone. Leon was a phenomenal artist who shared his many works with his family wherein his art is displayed in their homes. He primarily drew Native American artwork, and fantasy art, but he could draw whatever he wanted to and one of his most recent works was a portrait he sketched of his granddaughter, Lina. He loved Jerome tiger's paintings and artwork together with Frank Frazetti's fantasy and science fiction art. His passion included his Oklahoma Sooners football team and was their #1 fan together with driving Ford Mustangs. He was of the Southern Baptist Faith and attended Pine Ridge Baptist church in Jay. Leon was preceded in death by his father, Riley Sultzer, for whom he was named afar, his paternal and maternal grandparents, and one brother-in-law, Terry P. Sixkiller, and one brother Billy Joe O'Field. Leon is survived by his mother Edna Marie Sultzer of Jay, the love of his life being daughter, Georgina Sierra and husband, Eduardo Sierra of Bentonville, AR, and his cherished granddaughter, Lina Marie Sierra, daughter of Georgina and Eduardo. Additional survivors include Leon's sisters, Pat Sixkiller and Kathy Wiese of Eucha, OK, Bobby Lee seltzer of Jay, OK, and Leroy and his wife, Kandy Sultzer of Anderson, MO. Leon will be deeply missed by all of his nieces and nephews wherein each and everyone has their special memories with Uncle Leon including Valerie J. Sultzer, Claremore, OK, Brian Lee Sultzer and wife Catrina of Grove, OK, Laura and husband Jeff Goins of Jay, OK, Tracy Sixkiller and wife Melanie of Eucha, OK, Jarrett and wife Lucinda Sixkiller of Eucha, OK, Nikki Payton and husband, Todd of Jay, OK, Jacob Wiese of Eucha, OK, Christopher Wiese and fiancé Lauren Moch, Baton Rouge, LA, Blake and wife, Alisha Sultzer, of Joplin, MO; Kasandra Sultzer of Anderson, MO; great nieces and nephews, Tsala, Sasha, Dylan, Matthew, Caitlin, Kayla, Lane, Kobe, Colin, Kyle, Tyler, Kinli, Ayden, Talon; and a great-great nephew, Billy; sister-in-law, Linda Sultzer, Anderson, MO, uncles, aunts, several cousins, and other extended family and friends. Pallbearers to honor Leon's life will be his nephews and honorary pallbearers will be his nieces. A visitation for Leon Sultzer will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 16, 2106 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay, OK. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Pine Ridge Church with Reverend Clifford Loftis, Jr. officiating which is Leon's maternal cousin. Blessing Leon's life in song will be the Nofire family. Interment will follow in the O'Field Cemetery, Jay, OK under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
