Leroy Wilson

Leroy Wilson, age 83, died on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Leroy was the son of William Leonard and Donna Muriel (Miller) Wilson; he was born on September 23, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. After graduating from Will Rogers High School in Tulsa, Leroy proudly served in the United States Marines. He earned the rank of Corporal and served during the Korean War. Leroy married the love of his life Patricia Ann Surratt on September 22, 1951 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He retired from being a salesman for CK&W Supply and moved to Grove, Oklahoma thirty years ago. Leroy was also a 32nd degree Mason. Leroy is survived by his wife of 60 years, Pat Wilson of the home, his son Kenneth Leroy Wilson and his wife Linda of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and his daughter Debi Hale and her husband Cliff of Porter, Oklahoma. Leroy was blessed with four grandchildren, Christina Wells and husband Shannon, Melissa Bertrand, Angela Hale Davis, and Amanda Hale, and four great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wilson, Maddie Wells, Abbey Wells, and Felicia Bertrand. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove, Oklahoma with Pastor Russ Simpson officiating.
