Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home,Grove, OK (918) 786-2261 - Grove/Grand Lake native, Lesa Carol (Wilhite) Duffield, 59, passed away on July 26, 2016 at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma after a long hard battle with cancer. Lesa was born on June 18, 1957 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Kenneth M. Wilhite and the late Elizabeth "Betty" Ruth (Little) Wilhite. After graduating from Grove High School Class of 75, Lesa attended NEO A&M in Miami. She was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Duffield on November 9, 1981 in Grove, Oklahoma. Lesa was a very hard-working and well respected real estate broker for over 30 years. Lesa was the president of the Northeast Oklahoma Board of Realtors, serving two separate terms, and was voted Realtor of the Year. Lesa was also a member of the National Association of Realtors, as well as a member of the Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Lake Association. In 2009, Lesa opened Crye-Leike Realtors in Grove, and was a million-dollar producer in sales for several years. Most of all, Lesa was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will truly be missed. Lesa will be joining her mother in heaven, Betty Little Wilhite who passed away in 1957. She is also preceded in death by her grandparents Willis B and Maudie Nunley of Grove, and Lenora Wilhite Finch of Arizona. Left here to morn her passing is her father Kenneth M. Wilhite and the only mother she knew, Kay Nunley Landis, her husband Bob Duffield, her son Paul Duffield and his significant other Dodi Manley, her daughter Jestina Trento and partner Melissa King. Lesa leaves behind three sisters, Teresa E. Wilhite of Spring Tx, Sherri K Smith and husband Mike of Copan, Ok, her three children Kevin Hopper of Woodland California, Brandon Smith and wife Lacey of Ramona, Ok and Ashley Vaughan and husband Greg of McAlester Ok and Crystal Guest and husband Noah of California. Lesa was blessed with three grandchildren Carson Duffield, Kennedy Duffield and Kimberlynn Manley-Forrester. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5-7PM Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Services will be held at 3:00PM, Sunday, July 31, 2016 at the First Christian Church Fellowship Hall. Lesa will be laid to rest in Mose Ridge Cemetery in Topsy, Oklahoma on Monday at 10AM.
