Luginbuel Funeral Home - 918-256-5555.... Lila Mae Riley, 83 year old long time resident of Strang, OK, passed away Friday, September 15, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Lila Mae was born April 26, 1934. She attended school at Strang. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Strang. Lila Mae was an exceptional cook and gardener. She fed many, many people through her lifetime. She baked all kinds of goodies, too many to mention. She canned and gardened for many years even after moving to town; she still had a flower bed and tomato and pepper plants. Lila Mae was preceded in death by her husband Junior Riley and her parents Jim and Marie Wilson Booten. She is survived by her daughter Kay Sierer of Strang, son Carl Wompler and wife Tammy of Pryor, son Everett Riley and wife Sheila of Talihina, son Phillip Riley and wife Geneva of Spavinaw, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 aunt Mary Ann Campbell of Jay, along with a host of cousins, neighbors, and friends. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2017 at the First Baptist Church of Strang with Pastor J. R. Curtsinger officiating. Interment will follow at Spavinaw-Strang Cemetery.
