Lil Spies was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and never met a stranger. A five minute conversation with her and she would become a lifelong friend and you would feel like you had known her forever. She was especially known for her unique and direct way of talking and her no nonsense attitude. She had an amazing sense of humor and excelled at her story telling. She worked very hard by her husband Fritz's side while in the Charolais cattle business establishing a very well respected name with great success and then later became a waitress at the Big Cabin Truck Stop, which she relished dearly. Her love of people and talking made it the ultimate career choice for her and where she made many lifelong friends. She had many passions in life other than her family that included being a lover of cats, she was famous for her cinnamon rolls, cookies and other baked treats for her family and friends. She excelled at cooking for her family on holidays and the table was always lavished with the best of foods. She was passionate about playing and winning bingo with Fritz, lovingly embroidered many sets of dish towels and quilts for family and friends, loved to do jigsaw puzzles and play pinochle. She was an avid Oklahoma Sooner fan, loved ALL sports and lived to please her family. She is leaving a legacy of her creation and has taught all of her family to have a love for family by always making them the most important thing in life, a devotion to your spouse and a passion for life. She will be greatly missed but we will all cherish our special memories of her and she will live inside each one of us as we continue on with the memory of her love and devotion.
