Linda Elliot

Linda R. Elliot, Butler community resident, died Wednesday July 11, 2011 at Grove Nursing Center at the age of 65 years. Linda was born March 5, 1946 in Grove, Oklahoma to her parents, Chloe G Gray and Vera D. (Arnold) Gray. During her youth her family moved to Indiana, but Linda returned in 1969 and married Frank Elliot on October 26, 1970 in Miami, Oklahoma. Linda enjoyed raising chickens, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Frankie Lee Elliot; her brother, Ronnie Gene Gray; her sisters, Arvella Winchester and Claudetta Lawton. Linda leaves many loving memories with her husband, Frank, of the home; and her brother Tony G. Gray and his family, as well as many other loving relatives and a host of friends. Visitation will be 6:00 -7:00 PM Thursday July 14, 2011 at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday at Butler Baptist Church with Pastor Charlie Smith officiating. Linda will be laid to rest next to her son, Frankie, at Polson Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove.
