Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma. 918-786-2261. Linda Kay Ely, 69, passed away on June 1, 2016 in Grove, Oklahoma. Linda was born on March 29, 1947 in Pittsburg, Kansas. She attended school in Pittsburg, Kansas, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Parsons, Kansas. She graduated from Labette community college in Parsons. Linda worked at Martin-Marietta, Parsons High school and retired from Community Action Agency in Jay, Oklahoma after ten years of service. She loved her job of helping elderlies with getting their medication and most would have gone without if it wasn't for Linda. This was proven with the many testimonies received from her clients thanking her. Linda is survived by her husband; Roger Ely, sister Debby Foreman and her husband John of Grove, OK, brother Denny James and his wife Vicki of Broken Arrow, OK, niece Stacie Kramlinger and her husband Dave of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, nephew Mitch James and his wife Krysta of Owasso, Oklahoma, two great nephews Kaden and Benjamin James, and seven step-daughters. Linda was preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Dorothy James, husband Kenneth Milliken and husband Don Gambrel. Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, June 6, 2016 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma with Reverend Leroy Foreman officiating. Linda will be laid to rest in the Nashville Missouri cemetery. Memorial donations can be made the Nashville Missouri Cemetery.
