Lloyd Bayless Robertson, 73, a resident of Twin Oaks, Oklahoma passed away at his home on Sunday May 3, 2009. He was born in on August 20, 1935 in Vinita, Oklahoma to Luther Lloyd and Mary Mae (Newkirk) Robertson. On May 22, 1954 Lloyd married his wife of 54 years Aronda Hutchison. Lloyd was a minister for the Twin Oaks Free Holiness Church along with his family his ministry very important. He loved to work in his garden and growing his vegetables, and pitching horseshoes. One of his other enjoyments was playing dominoes and checkers with his family and friends. Lloyd played the guitar, his family was very musical and they loved to get together as a family and play and sing Southern Gospel music. Mr. Robertson was preceded in death by his parents Luther and Mary Robertson, his sister Wanda Crownover and Brother J E Coffee. Survivors include his wife Aronda Robertson of the home, Children Karla Applegate and her husband Jimmy of Inola, Jackie Carroll of Twin Oaks, Lavell Weast and her husband Jim of Inola and Steve Robertson and his wife Annette of Jay, eleven grandchildren Shelly Dill, Tony Applegate, Basil Carroll, Tom Carroll, Charley Carroll, Jo Hays Carroll, Skipper Weast, Brandon Robertson, Katie Burton, Sarah Robertson, Rachel Robertson, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, along with four sisters Faye Helm of Rogers, Dorothy Foreman of Copan, Melba Cleveland and her husband Harold of West Siloam Springs and Cletus Oyler and her husband John of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Funeral services for Lloyd will be 2:00 PM, on Thursday, May 7, 2009 at the First Assembly of God in Jay with Brother J D Beckett and Brother Kenny Robertson officiating. Interment will follow in the Mose Ridge Cemetery under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay. Casketbearers will be Tony Applegate, Brandon Robertson, Skipper Weast, Tom Carroll, Charley Carroll, Basil Carroll and Jo Hays Carroll.
