Lodema Stark

Lodema Stark, 97, a longtime resident of the Copan area passed away on January 16 in Waldorf, MD. She was born in Ramona, OK on August 28, 1909 to Ada and Eli Sanborn. She attended Copan High School and graduated with the class of 1928. She married Walter Stark on August 29, 1931. She was a devoted mother and enjoyed playing Bingo and Sorry. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter Adalyn Garner and son in law Robert Garner. She is survived by her son Billy and wife Nancy of Hughesville, MD. Other survivors include grandchildren Debbie LaCoste and husband Henry; Michael Stark and wife Tina, Timothy Stark and wife Lynn, B.J. Stark and wife Jenny, great grandchildren Kayla, Brittanie, Michael, Jr., Nathan and Bradyn. The family has requested that in lieu of the usual remembrances, those who wish to contribute to Mrs. Stark's memory do so to the Lions Eye Bank, Care of Rick Kunc, 4859 SE Fairview RD, Bartlesville, 74006 Graveside services will be Friday January 26, 2007 at 11:00am in the Memorial Park Cemetery with. the Reverend Aaron Townsend officiating. The Stark family will receive guest at the funeral home on Thursday January, 25, 2007 from 2:00 to 3:30 pm and again from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
