Loella Woolman

Loella (Lody) Woolman, 81-year-old Nowata resident, passed away Friday, December 18, 2009 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. Lody was born January 10, 1928 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Edgar and Bertha (Dye) Farrar. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, Ethel and George Smith. She was Valedictorian of her high school class in 1947. On November 27, 1947, she married Ted Woolman in Nowata, Oklahoma. Mrs. Woolman worked as a loan closer for Musselman Abstract in Bartlesville for sixteen years. She was a longtime member of the 1st Church of God. Lody is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Ted Woolman of Nowata, Oklahoma; two sons and their wives, Denny and Regina Woolman, of Nowata, and John and Karen Woolman, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Woolman will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at the Church of God in Nowata with Pastor Marc Adams officiating. Visitation will be Monday, December 21, at the Benjamin Funeral Home 8:00A.M. to 9 P M with the family being present 7 to 8 . Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Nowata, Ok.
