Lois Idabell Kimball-Reale-Driscoll, 80-year-old former Nowata area resident, passed away on December 24, 2007 at the home of her daughter in Chelsea. Mrs. Driscoll was born February 27, 1927 in Oologah, Oklahoma to George Kimball and Rebecca Jacquellean Huckins-Kimball. She grew up in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School. She then went on to obtain her Bachelors Degree in Administrative Nursing. Mrs. Driscoll had relocated to the Mounds, Oklahoma area where she was active in the Senior Citizens Center for several years. She was a past Treasurer for the Sr. Citizens Center and was also a member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Driscoll had several hobbies which included painting and writing. She was also a published author of poetry. Mrs. Driscoll was also very proud of a Presidential Commendation that she received from President Reagan for her work and efforts in vaccinating Cuban refugees. Mrs. Driscoll is survived by two daughters, Joann Schulze and her husband Ernest of Chelsea and Joyce Roberts and her husband Roy of Chelsea; by a son, Jerry Reale and his wife Dona of Tulsa; by one brother, Bobby E. Kimball; by 6 grandchildren; and by 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; by two husbands; by a brother Billie Kimball and by an infant brother George Kimball, Jr. and by an infant sister Rebecca Kimball.
