Lola Jones

Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555 Darlene Jones was born on December 7, 1952 to Pearl Lucille and James Alfred Black in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She married Tommy Jones on June 14, 1969. They have two daughters Tammy and Husband Donny McGuire of Springdale, Arkansas, Melisa "Missy" Wakefield and Chuck Cupps of Vinita, and one Son Tracy Jones of Vinita, a Grandson whom they adopted Joseph Jones, and Lila Caton whom was like a daughter to them. Darlene has three Grandsons, Marshall McGuire, Kevin and Jacob Wakefield and two Granddaughters Renae McGuire and Hailey Jones. Darlene has one Great Grandson Aaron Alan McGuire. She was "Ma" to Kyle and Kelsey Himes and many others around the word. She is survived by three Sisters Martha Jordan Tahlequah, Faye and Husband Bobby Gilbert of Americiaus, Kansas and Glenda and Husband Joe Crabtree of Warner, and two Brothers Ed and Wife June Black of Cleora, Leon and Wife Francis of Springfield, Missouri. Darlene is preceded in death by her Mother Pearl and Father James, Brothers LeRoy Black, Bobby Black and Hubert "Dude" Black, along with one Sister Janie Black. Darlene loved spending time with her family, singing karokee, socializing while tending the bar and having special time with her sister every year. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Friday, May 23, 2014 at the Emanuel Church with Pastor Kevin Bass officiating. Interment will follow at Ghormley Cemetery.
