Lonnie Lenn "Butch" Nail, 64 year-old White Oak resident, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at the St. John Hospital in Tulsa. He was born July 19, 1945 to Ray Lenn and Juanita Margaret "Marge" (Leforce) Nail. Butch attended and graduated from White Oak Schools. He worked as a coal miner for many years, including, Patch, Peabody, McNabb and Ranchers mining companies. Butch married Pamela Jean Sinclair on May 29, 1964 in Vinita, Pam preceded him in death on December 5, 2003. He was a member of the White Oak Baptist Church, enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially family gatherings. The family includes; his daughters, Angela Free and husband Terry of Pensacola, Carrie Liggett and Ben Graves of White Oak, a brother Ken Nail and wife D'Etta of Broken Arrow; grandchildren, Cassy Free, Joey Anderson, Halie Liggett, Madison Liggett, Jennifer Turnbough, Amanda Stanley, Darren Stanley, Jake McGuire, Kerztan Graves, Rowdy Graves, Yance Graves, and Tori Graves; great-grandchildren, Evyn and Dayton Turnbough; also numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Others preceding him in death include his father, Ray Nail in 1996, his mother, Marge Nail in 2006, a daughter, Shelley Lynette McGuire in 2002, a brother and sister in-law, Bill and Anita Nail in 1967. The funeral will be held Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the White Oak Baptist Church, with Pastor Leland Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita.
