Lorene Woodall

Lorene Woodall, age 91 of Vinita, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013. Lorene was born in Grove, OK on January 17, 1922 to Rollie "Rol" Rogers and Blanche (Phoenix) Rogers. In 1940 she graduated from Grove High School. She was united in marriage to Jack Woodall on December 23, 1941. Lorene ran her own beauty shop from 1960-1991. She was also a very active member of the First Baptist Church in Vinita where she sang in the Silvertones. She loved singing and playing piano. Survivors include her nieces and nephews: Jack Woodall of Bluejacket, Jerry Lingo of Vinita, John Lingo of Vinita, Richard Lingo of Sherman, TX and Vonda Absher of Vinita. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Jack Woodall, sisters: Elzabeth Lingo and Helen Rogers, nephew John Woodall, and niece Christine Hilderbrand. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 6, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Vinita with Pastor Skip McLain officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
