Lou Webb

Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita - 918-256-5555, --- Lou Della (Matthews) Webb, 83 year old Vinita resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Heartsworth Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 4, 1931 in Cleora to James Pinkney Matthews and Edna Lee Richardson Matthews. Lou was a graduate of Cleora High School. She married Lee Boyd Webb, in Bentonville, Arkansas, they lived most of their life in the Ketchum Area, Lee preceded her in death in 1976. Lou worked as a mental health aide at Eastern State Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vinita. Lou also worked cleaning homes around the lake and the Ketchum Telephone Company office. She also had a snack bar at one time in the Pharmacy at Ketchum. Lou enjoyed doing puzzles and embroidery. She loved her family and taking care of her grandkids and will be missed by them all. Those preceding her in death were her parents, husband, a grandson Brian Webb, a great-grandchild Lucy Waller, seven brothers and sisters. The family includes; her son, Joel Webb of Ketchum, daughters, Sally Petrescu of Vinita, Cindy White and husband Walter of Ketchum, Susan Waller and husband Frank of El Reno; a sister, Janie Lee Stone of Grove; a brother J. D. Matthews and wife Effie of Grove; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Sonja Tobey and Rev. Skip McClain officiating.
