Louis Edward Falling, age 85, a lifetime resident of the Vinita, area died Monday December 22, 2008 at his home. He was born July 23, 1923 in the family home near Vinita and attended Wolf School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII serving in China and India guarding an oil pipeline. He spent his life as a farmer - rancher and helping people. He was the Caretaker of Timpson Chapel Cemetery for over fifty years . He enjoyed family, fishing and repairing most everything. He is survived by his wife of fifty four years, Naomi of the home, brothers Gorge and Geneva Falling of Bernice, OK, Frank and Nancy Falling of White Oak, OK and Don Falling of Wyoming, three sisters, Thelma Allison of Vinita, OK, Imogene Martin of Chelsea, OK, Roena Carpenter of Bixby, OK a daughter in law, Rowena Falling of White Oak, a special Niece and nephew, Elaine Evans and Larry Miers and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son Richard Louis Falling and daughter Ramona Lynn Falling, one sister and one brother. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday December 26, 2008 in the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita with Rev. Odell Carpenter and Rev. Skip McClain officiating.
