Loyd Thomas "Tommy" Williams, Jr. 56 of Miami, Oklahoma passed away December 27, 2007 in Cassville, Missouri. Tommy was born June 22, 1951 in Liberal, Kansas to Loyd and Betty (Wingfield) Williams. He grew up in Pryor and Adair schools. He graduated from Big Cabin High School. Tommy was preceded in death by both parents, and his brother Shannon Paul Williams. He is survived by one son, Denton of Tulsa, three sisters, Tamara "Tami" Ray and her husband Doug, Teresa "Teri" Arnett and her husband Lenny, Sandra "Sandy" Ivey, all of Pensacola, Oklahoma, and a host of other family and friends from coast to coast. Tommy was a truck driver. He drove trucks from the time he graduated until his passing. He drove for other companies in the beginning of his career, but for many years he owned his own company - LTW Trucking. For a short time he owned his own farm and had a cow/calf operation. He was always very thankful to friends Chigger Carter of Adair, for kick starting his love of trucking and Roy Hamill of Adair for being like a brother and a life long friend. He loved tinkering around outside in the shop on old trucks, tractors, pickups and motorcycles. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Vinita. A private family interment will be held later at the Adair Cemetery at a later date.
