Funeral services for Lucille Lorraine Minniear are 1:00 P.M., Monday, November 17, 2014 at Hillside Christian Church with Ben Killion officiating. Lucille Lorraine Minniear, 96, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at the Osage Nursing Home in Nowata. She was born May 8, 1918 in Falan, Kansas to Herbert and Mary Christina (Casterline) Spencer. Lucille was educated in the Nowata School System. She attended Nursing training in California and later attended Beauty College in Bartlesville. She Married Joseph Elam Minniear in Nowata. They lived in Long Beach, California and moved back to Nowata in about 1970. Lucille was a member of the Hillside Christian Church and enjoyed church activities and loved her Church family. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Las Vegas, Nevada, and the mountains where she could enjoy the views of God's creation. Lucille was a very loving and kind lady that will be missed by all who knew her. Lucille is survived by a brother, Ralph Spencer; a sister, Dorothy Bradford; nieces, Sue Bradford, Christena Frasco; nephews, Jim Bradford, Kelly Bradford, Blair Bradford, Curtis Spencer, Corey Spencer and many great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Elam Minniear; a son, Roger Minniear; and a grandson, Mark Minniear.
