Luella Chuculate

Luella Frances Chuculate 86 year-old Vinita resident, died Thursday, December 6, 2007 at her home. She was born August 5, 1921 in Delaware County, Oklahoma to Silas and Mary (Gourd) Bohanan. Frances was married to W. B. Chuculate on October 19, 1948 in Delaware, County, he preceded her in death. She worked as a patient aide at Eastern State Hospital in Vinita for 25 years. Frances loved to read Danielle Steele Romance novels, listen to gospel music, knit afghans, Indian bead work, and read her bible. She was a member of the Piney Baptist Church east of Jay, Oklahoma. The family includes: her children, William Chuculate of West Jordan, Utah, Dennis Chuculate and wife Joan of Bryson City, North Carolina, Dewayne Matthews of Claremore, Ok, a daughter Jackie Chuculate of Vinita; one brother, Gene Bohanan and wife Connie of Cedar City, Utah; grandchildren, Candle Melton, Geremy Chuculate, Terilyn Achenbach, Shelley Chuculate, Donna Chuculate, J R Chuculate, Jillian Chuculate, Meagan Chuculate, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death, by her parents, her husband, a son Vance Chuculate, a brother Silas "Dude" Bohanan and a great-grandson. Casket bearers will be; Leo Dennis, Leroy Dennis, Bryan Melton, Edward Dennis, William Chewey and David Dennis. The funeral will be held Monday, December 10, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at the Piney Baptist Church east of Jay. Interment will follow at the Hilderbrand Cemetery near Zena. The family will receive friends at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 9, 2007. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
