Margaret Holler

Margaret Jane Holler, 87-year-old Bartlesville resident, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2008. Margaret Jane Holler was born May 13, 1921 in Bartlesville. She attended schools in Bartlesville and graduated from College High School. Mrs. Holler married Rollie Robert Holler on July 3, 1947 in Bartlesville. The two shared a passion and love for animals and together co-founded the Washington County SPCA. Mrs. Holler also worked as a secretary for Phillips Petroleum for several years. She loved music and dancing. Mrs. Holler treasured her dear friends and the time she spent visiting them. Mrs. Holler is survived by one son, Professor Lynn A. Gray and his wife Patrice Peterson of Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her husband; by one sister, Julia Ann Gardner; and by two brothers, Jack Scoggins and Olin Scoggins. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Holler will be held at 2:00p.m., Monday, December 22, 2008 at the White Rose Cemetery with her close friend Betty Berger presiding. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Washington County SPCA, 16620, State Highway 123, Bartlesville, OK 74006. Services have been entrusted to the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Bartlesville.
