Margie Lou Howard, 86, of Nowata, passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at the Osage Nursing Home. She was born March 8, 1928 in Alluwe to Hazel (Marlin) and Frank Howard. She moved from Alluwe to Georgia when she was five and returned to Nowata in 1994. Margie loved quilting, and making stuffed bears to give away. Margie always wore a smile and was a loving and kind person. Margie is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Gerald Franklin Howard; two sisters, Mary Richards and Arlene Boyd. She is survived by a sister, Letha LiDel of Nowata; a niece, Teresa Mass; a nephew, James Medena and many more nieces and nephews; and a close friend, Debbie Dobbs and family.
