Marguerite (Cook) Robertson, 91, Eucha area resident, died Friday, July 11, 2014 in Tulsa. Marguerite was one of nine children born to James William and Nora Etta (Wade) Cook. She was born on June 29, 1923 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. During World War II, Marguerite worked as a â�œRosie the Riveterâ in the naval yards outside Vallejo, CA. She married Charles Robertson on November 2, 1956 and they celebrated 57 years of marriage until his death earlier this year. Marguerite was a member of the Southside Church of Christ in Jay. She loved sewing, reading, gardening, needlepoint, cooking, canning, crocheting. Most of all she loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she attended as many of their sporting or school events as she could. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles; son Adrian Haggard; 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Marguerite leaves many loving memories with her family; son, Roger Robertson, of Glenpool; daughter Carol Ann White, of Tulsa; sister-in-laws, Velma Willhite and husband Bob, of Ft. Worth, TX, Mary Jane Penn, of Rockwall, TX, Pat Cook, of Vallejo, CA, and Wanda Cook, of Puyallup, WA; granddaughter, Tammy Cornell and husband Travis; great-grandchildren, Adrianna, Abby and Logan; several nieces and nephews, as well as many other loving family members. Viewing and Visitation will be 6:00 PM â�" 8:00 PM Wednesday July 16, 2014 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday July 17, 2014 at Southside Church of Christ in Jay, OK with Brother Steve Stenzel officiating. Interment will follow at Mose Ridge Cemetery.
