Marilyn Sue Bridgeman-Sloan, 78 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on June 14, 2018 at the McDonald County Living Center in Anderson Missouri. Marilyn was born on November 25, 1939 in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Jess and Alice (West) Bridgeman. Marilyn was a graduate of Vinita High School. She went to work for Bell Telephone and then retired after working for Wal-Mart for over 30 years. She enjoyed going to yard sales, tending to her garden and spending time with her family. Marilyn faithfully read her Bible daily and was a member of the Faith Mission Church of Jay. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Melvin Eugene Sloan, her sister Wanda Baker and infant sister Patricia. She is survived by her daughter Beverly Gentry of Jay, Oklahoma, 2 grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Marilyn will lay in-state for viewing on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 8am - 5pm. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 19, 2018 both at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Jay, Oklahoma.
