Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - Langley - 918-782-4400.... Marion Jake "Pete" Black, 81 year old Langley resident, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 surrounded by his family. Pete was born in Lucien, OK on September 7, 1935 to Jake and Vera Black. He proudly served in the United States Army and most recently was a driver for Robert's Auto in Pryor. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling, playing cards and pool, driving, and drinking Pepsi. Survivors include his wife Terri Black of the home, daughters: Pam Smittle of Wagoner, Birdie Black of Tulsa, and Linda Lawson and husband Alan of Nowata, siblings: Nancy Reeves, Rod Black, Dean Black, John Black, Connie Anderson, and Jackie Hathcoat, grandchildren: Jesse Smittle, Dillon Smittle, Lee Lawson, Casey Lawson, James Francisco, Sara Cupples, and Roxanne Barr, and great grandchildren: Andrew, Aubrie, Lynnlee, Brayden, Jacob, Elijah, and Isaiah. He is preceded in death by his parents, children: Marvin Black, Edie Francisco, and Melvin Black, and siblings: Robert "Pug" Black, Jerry Black, and Linda Black. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Langley with Pastor Freddy Griffin officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, OK. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home.
