Mrs. Marjorie Jeanne Curtis, 83, a resident of Copan, died Thursday morning at Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Dewey. Marjorie Jeanne Curtis was born in Thayer, Kansas, May 6, 1926, the daughter of Paul and Ada (Crouch) Cooper. She was raised and educated in Bartlesville. Marjorie Jeanne Cooper was united in marriage to William "Bill" Curtis on October 28, 1943 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Bill and Jeanne resided in Bartlesville, Ok before moving to Copan, Ok. In 1969 they bought Slims Resort on Grand Lake and were there for fifteen years before returning to Copan. Marjorie enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Curtis is survived by two sons Fred and DeAnn Curtis of Copan and Ed Curtis of Copan, five Grandchildren, five Great Grandchildren and three sister's Gertrude Hughey of Bartlesville, Mary Florence Suggs of San Antonio, Tx and Frances Afford of Borger, Tx. She is preceded in death by her parents, one son Richard Joe Curtis and brother Glenn Cooper.
