Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 9+18-786-2261...Marjorie Lea Haas, 87 year old, Grove Oklahoma resident passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014 in Grove, Oklahoma. Marjorie was born on December 7, 1926 in Kinsley Kansas, to Albert G. Moffat and Sally Ethel (Henry) Moffat. She attended school in Kinsley, Kansas and graduated in 1944. She went on to graduate from St. Rose Nursing School in Great Bend, Kansas in 1947. Marjorie married Robert William Haas on October 9, 1949 in Natrona, Kansas. When Marjorie retired as a registered nurse she had worked over 40 years in several communities including, Great Bend, Kansas, Seattle, Washington, Coldwater, Kansas, and Pratt, Kansas where she worked at the hospital, and the offices of; Dr. Freeman, Dr. Walff, Dr. Tilley, and Dr. Black. Marjorie and Robert moved to Canyon City, Colorado in 1991 and lived there until April of 2000 when they moved to Grove, Oklahoma. Marjorie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairland, Oklahoma, and a lifetime member of St. Rose- Dominica Nurses Alumnae. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, one brother A.G. Moffat Jr., two sisters Margaret and Helen Louise, one son Kenneth Eugene and wife Connie, one grandson, Jimmie, and a great grandson Ryan Walker. Marjorie is survived by a son, Robert David Haas and wife Karen, of Grove, Oklahoma, a granddaughter Jennifer Walker and husband Dale, of Rigby, Idaho, and a great grandson Robert James Walker, Kelli Morrison and Chris Morrison Funeral services for Marjorie will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fairland, Oklahoma. The Reverend Leo Schroeder will officiate. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday September 16, 2014 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at St Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Pratt, Kansas.
