Marjorie Beth McCoy, 87, a resident of Grove passed away on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Integris Grove General Hospital. She was born on January 10, 1923 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas to Richard and Georgia (Haskell) Tarrant. Mrs. McCoy worked at Boeing and then owned and operated a restaurant in Wichita. Marjorie was an avid book reader and liked crossword puzzles, she liked to embroider and quilt, although her time in Kansas made her a KU fan that liked to watch her basketball and football games. Her parents, her husband Tommie McCoy, her brothers and sisters and two grandsons Jim and Jerry Brown precede Marjorie in death. Survivors include her children Judy Gardner of Grove her son Dick Brown of Eudora, Kansas, grandchildren are Tammy Brown, Tarri Hastert, Tonya Quinda, & Jake Brown and great grandchildren Todd, Erika, Ashlyn, Justyce, Kenedy and Kolten and one great-great grandchild Karyn.
