Mark Phillip Fitzgibbon, a fifty-nine year old resident of Tulsa passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Saint Francis Hospital South in Tulsa. Mark was born on January 28, 1952 in Chanute, Kansas to Patrick Anthony and Lila Frances (Linder) Fitzgibbon. Mark was a big fan of the Beatles, he loved to listen to their music. He enjoyed Geography and would read his road atlas more than likely while drinking a cold Pepsi. Mark was the twelfth child of Patrick and Lila's, he was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Patrick A. Fitzgibbon Jr. Survivors include his brothers and sisters; Joe and Pearle Ann Fitzgibbon of Edmond, Oklahoma, Nancy and Sonny Waggoner of Miami, Oklahoma, Lila and Dale Scott of Mesa, Arizona, Mary Jane and Terry James of Webb City, Missouri, Michael and Donna Fitzgibbon of Miami, Oklahoma, Kathleen and Carl Schertz of Miami, Oklahoma, Norene Pendergraft of Webb City, Missouri, John and Debbie Fitzgibbon of Webb City, Missouri, Terry and C. Ann Fitzgibbon of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Ann and John Robyler of Miami, Oklahoma, Dennis and Heather Fitzgibbon of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and numerous nieces, nephews and other family. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church of the Sacred Heart in Miami with Father Carl Kerkemeyer officiating. Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Burial will follow at G.A.R. Cemetery in Miami under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove. The family has ask that memorial Contributions be made to St. Judes Children's Research Hospital. Those donations can be made in care of the Funeral Home at 711 S.
