Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Mark Duane Norris, 58 passed away on September 30, 2017 at his home surrounded by family. Mark was born on March 26, 1959 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was the son of Jack and Virginia (Barber) Norris. He was a graduate of U.S. Grant High School. Mark was a very talented and skilled cabinet maker and master carpenter. He dedicated his life to his family and his craft. He was an extraordinary husband, father, and grandfather. Mark enjoyed learning and teaching those around him. He was politically outspoken and enjoyed working for change in his community. Mark loved cycling and spending time outdoors. Mark was a faithful man and also served the shut-ins for some time. He will be missed more than words can express. Mark was preceded in death by his mother and granddaughter Paige. He leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Connie (Meadows) Norris of the home, four daughters; Courtney Smith and husband Kelon of Grove, Oklahoma, Morgan Palmer and husband Bob of Evans, Georgia, Mallory Decker and husband Jed of Grove, Oklahoma, Madelyn Norris of the home. Mark was blessed with six grandchildren; Jack & Jade Smith, Trey & Blake Palmer, Daphne & Clara Decker. He will be dearly missed by his brother Dennis Norris of Moore, Oklahoma. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 pm, Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Grove Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel. Services are scheduled for 2 pm, Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Randy Hamill officiating. Honoring Mark's life serving as honorary bearers will be David Brand, Mark Brown, Tim Montgomery and Ed Cave.
