Marshall Bubniak, 84, of Grove, Oklahoma died Thursday, July 17, 2008 at his residence at Grandwood Assisted Living Center in Grove, Oklahoma. He was born in Liskova, Czechoslovakia on April 13, 1924 to Adam Bubniak and Gabriella Minarchek and came to America with his mother when he was five years old. Marshall worked in foundries for thirty years after marrying the late Marcella Wistrom on December 22, 1974 in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The couple owned and operated Red Rock Resort until his retirement in the early 1980's. He also served his country in World War II in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed building and flying model airplanes and making fly fishing rods. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and his loving wife Marcella. Survivors include sons, Greg Bubniak and wife Melody, and Ron Wistrom and wife Kathy; daughter, Claudia Pollan and husband Roy; grandsons: Brian Pollan and wife Mandy, Casey Pollan and wife Leah, Grant Wistrom and wife Melissa, Chance Wistrom and Tracey Wistrom; granddaughters, Amber Lane and husband Tom, Marci Ramsey and husband Chey, Haddi Ramsey and Megan Moyes; great-granddaughters, Gabriella Moyes, Danielle Moyes and Charlie Wistrom; great grandsons, Wyatt Wistrom, Brent Pollan, Cache Pollan and Asher Pollan. Graveside services for Marshall Bubniak will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 21, 2008 at Olympus Cemetery in Grove, Oklahoma. Friends may pay their respects during business hours at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove.
