Martha "Ann" Hill, age 62, a lifetime resident of the Strang, Langley area died Wednesday evening October 9, 2008 at her home. She was born September 2, 1946 in Pryor, OK the daughter of John Bell and Nellie (Goins) Bell. She was reared and educated in Strang where she graduated high school then attended and earned her Masters in Education from NSU in Tahlequah. She taught school in Ketchum for twenty nine years followed by six years at Southwest City, MO till her retirement. She and Lewis Hill were united in Marriage on July 25, 1991 in Eureka Springs, AR and made their home at Langley. She was of the Methodist faith and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, the lake and riding the wave runners. Ann is survived by her husband Lew Hill of the home, three children, Kim Rich of Melbourne, FL, Jim Nibarger of Tulsa, OK and Debbie Berger of Strang, OK, two step children, Mark Hill and Kassie Hill both of Oklahoma City, one brother John Bell of Strang, two grandchildren, Sara Berger and Michael Hair and one great grand daughter Kylie Berger, three step grandchildren, Sloane, Dayton and Lee. Graveside services will be Saturday October 11, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. in the Spavanaw - Strang Cemetery with Tom Hopper officiating under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home of Langley.
