Luginbuel Funeral Home Vinita, 918 - 256 - 5555............... Marvin Wilkins, 80 year old Vinita resident, passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016. Marvin was born in White Oak, OK on March 17, 1936 to Amos and Odell Wilkins. Marvin proudly served and retired from the United States Air Force. Following his military service he worked several years for the postal service. He was of the Baptist faith, was a member of the American Legion, loved horses and dogs, and had no use for politicians. Survivors include his children Teri Nel and husband Louie of White Oak and Sonny Wilkins of Big Cabin, daughter-in-law Pam Wilkins of White Oak, brother Calvin Wilkins of White Oak, sister Sandra Cardwell of Tulsa, 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son Cal Wilkins, sisters Louise Dameron and Lucy Williams, and one brother Eldon Wilkins. Graveside services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 18, 2016 at the White Oak Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
