Mary Lee Brantley

Mary Lee Brantley, 77, of Bartlesville, passed away Thursday morning, October 31, 2024, at her home.

Mary was born in Bartlesville on June 19, 1947, to Demps Anderson Hamilton and Mary (Williams) Hamilton. She lived most of her life in the Bartlesville area, except for a short time in Missouri and Arkansas.

Mary was married to Kenneth Wayne “Sonny” Brantley on December 15, 2006, in Bartlesville. Mr. Brantley preceded his wife in death on November 21, 2021.

She was a member of Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. Mary liked to shop and solve word puzzles. She enjoyed doing embroidery and coloring books. Mary adored her family’s attention and loved to travel and see new places. She was especially fond of the beach and was an avid listener of classic country music.

Mary is survived by her four children, Kenneth Brantley and his wife, Alice of Bartlesville, Andy Brantley and his wife, Joyce of Springfield, MO, Angela Moreno and her husband, Pedro of Chualar, CA, and Peggy Ledbetter of Philomath, OR; two brothers, Dan Anderson Hamilton and Billy Joe Hamilton, both of Bartlesville; one sister, Nancy Ann Keaton and her husband, Carl of Claremore, OK; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband.

Funeral services for Mary will be held 2pm, Thursday, November 7, 2024, at the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wally Thymes officiating. Interment will follow in Bartlesville’s Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Visitation will be held from 9am-8pm, Wednesday, with the family receiving guests from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
