Mary Frances (Waldrop) Dady, age 73 of Bluejacket, died Sunday, May 29, 2011. Mary was born in Big Cabin on January 7, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Goldie (Smith) Waldrop. She graduated high school in Omaha, Nebraska. On November 19, 1955 she was united in marriage to Walter Ivan Dady in Hiawatha, KS and together they raised three children. Mary was a social butterfly who enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, and caning. She spent numerous years volunteering and substitute teaching at the schools her children attended. She also worked for Kens Farm and Home for 22 years and Leon's Grocery for 6 years both as a cashier. Mary was also a member of the Eastern Star in Fairland and the Carter Baptist Church of Vinita. Survivors include her children: Bill Dady and fiancée Cathy of Mustang, OK, Denice Cox and husband Mike of Fairland, OK, and Arinda Williams and husband Larry Joe of Bluejacket, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and one brother Homer Eugene Asbury and wife Sharon of Houston, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Walter Dady, and grandson Cody Joe Williams. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Terry Wise officiating. Interment will follow at Carselowey Cemetery.
