Mary Nayoma McCormick, 89, passed away March 28, 2012 at Rosewood Terrace in Vinita, Oklahoma. Mary was born on November 26, 1922 in Nowata, Oklahoma to Lee Roy and Bessie Mae (Helphenstine) Lybarger. Mary grew up and was educated in Nowata. She moved to Coffeyville, Kansas when she was a young woman and also moved to California for a short time in 1955. She returned to Rose, Oklahoma and, later, to Vinita in the early 1960's. She married Charles McCormick who preceded her in death. Mary is survived by a son, Tommy McCormick; two sisters, Beaulah Kidd David of Delaware, Oklahoma and Ella Rogers of Leech, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lee Roy and Bessie Mae Lybarger; a daughter, Mary Lynn McCormick; four brothers, Earnest Wando Lybarger, Clarence Lybarger, Lawrence Elijah LyBarger, and Daniel "Bubby" Lybarger and one sister, Ruby Jewell Martin.
