Mary Parnell

Mary Ellen Parnell, age 86 of Vinita, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 19, 2012. Mary was born in Ketchum, OK on October 17, 1925 the daughter of Charles and Adeline (Henry) Woodall. On November 7, 1943 she was united in marriage to the love of her life Eddie Parnell and together they raised five children. Mary was a go-getter. She always welcomed company into her home and enjoyed cooking for them as well. She cooked, baked pies, worked as a seamstress, as well as quilted. Survivors include her children Sharon Beber and husband Frank, Kennith Parnell and wife Linda, Mary Walker and husband Hutch, Steve Parnell and wife Carolyn, and Pamela McNutt of Galveston, TX, siblings: Lolene Harris, Ruth Trimble, Beth Smith, Jim Woodall, Chuck Woodall, Wilma Woodall, Jeanie Jordan, and Helen Vire, 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Eddie. Celebration of life services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2012 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Geoff Buffalo officiating.
