Mary Kathryn Powell, age 81, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012. Mary was born in Vinita on November 3, 1930 to Frank and Mary (Hensley) Trotter. She attended schools in both Coffeyville, KS and Vinita, OK. Throughout her life Mary worked in and ran various restaurants in the Tulsa area. She was known for her cooking but especially her pies. She enjoyed dancing and spending time with family. She was a wonderful grandmother. She was a member of the Grand Lake Baptist Church. Survivors include her children: Frank Riddle and wife Sherry of Vinita, Joann Schlosser and husband John of Vinita, Jimmy Riddle and wife LeAnn of Vinita, Diane Rawlings of Tulsa, and Darrin Means of Broken Arrow, grandchildren: Michelle Ironside, Stephanie Downey, Michael Riddle, and Laura Rexwinkle, great-grandchildren: Kyle Downey, Samantha Helm, and Kassidee Rexwinkle, siblings: Gary Trotter and wife Paula of Grove, Frank Trotter of Vinita, and Lela Duncan of Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mary Trotter and siblings: George Trotter, Bill Trotter, Roy Trotter, Gene Trotter, Melvin Trotter, and Alice Hensley. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor John Crowley officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
